On Saturday March 23rd we will meet at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Occupying 185 acres of land right on Lake Michigan it should give us plenty of subjects to hone our plein air skills!
- Time 9AM (critique at 1PM)
- There is a $6 entrance fee to the center
- We will meet on the building veranda for critique at 1Pm
- Dress warm! The breeze from the lake can go through you fast.
- You must stay on the paths to paint.
- Bring your own lunch as we eat as we critique!!
Exit Brown Deer Road east
Continue east on Brown Deer Road for 1 mile
As you approach a curve to the right (where Brown Deer Road meets Lake Drive) move into the left turn lane.
Turn left onto Lake Drive (north) and then immediately turn right (east) to stay on Brown Deer Road.
Note: You will be in a residential area. Drive for 1/8 mile and look for the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center sign on the right. Turn right into the grounds and follow the road to the parking lot and the main building.
