I am not a member of the WIPAPA, and I'm wondering if there are ever open calls for artists to participate in plein air competitions that don't require a membership. They seem so exclusive and hard to find!
Dear Anon...Sorry it took me so long to answer this.I have been out of town. There are many plein air competitions in Wisconsin that do not require a membership (Cedarburg, Beloit, Wauwatosa and Plymouth to name a few) But this is the only Juried plein air competition/show that I know of allowing the artist to choose their best work from the previous year.
