Mineral Point Winter Edition: 2015 Winners Announced

 Paint the Point Winter Edition

From February 4-7th 19 artists from an 800 mile radius gathered in the historical community of Mineral Point Wisconsin. We bundled up fighting temperatures as low as -15 and painted till the cold ran us inside! What fun!!! The body of work generated was spectacular.

Thanks to Arts Mineral Point (http://www.artsmp.org/) and to the Wantoot (http://www.wantoot.com/) and Longbranch Galleries (http://www.longbranchgallery.com/)for hosting this event!

I'm wondering...is this the first actual winter plein air competition in America?
