Congratulations Pewaukee Classic Boat Show Plein Air Winners!!!

Saturday, August 20, 2011 was the Antique & Classic Boat Show and Waterfront Art Fair at Lakefront Park in downtown Pewaukee.  The Pewaukee Area Arts Council hosted a plein air painting competition with $1,500 in prize money at stake.  We had 14 artists compete for awards, some who traveled a long distance from throughout the Midwest.  The following artists were chosen by our panel of three judges:

Professional Division:

1^st Place ($500)  Stephen Wysocki of Armstrong, WI

2^nd Place ($250) Martha Hayden of Sharon, WI

3^rd Place ($150) James Hempel of Shorewood, WI  (photo attached of his artwork)

Teen Division:

1^st Place ($150)  Becca Kaja (18) of Pewaukee

2^nd Place ($100)  Kasi Patrick (19) of Pewaukee

3^rd Place ($50) James Howard (19) of Pewaukee
