I have great news!! The Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago ( http://www.elegantfarmer.com/) has given us permission to paint there on Oct 24th! If you have never been there it is a beautiful place in the fall! There are apple orchards, pumpkin fields, hay rides and a great place to eat and shop in the barn. It's also the start site for a real trolley ride that takes about 1 hour round trip. (http://www.easttroyrr.org/) All in all it should be a great day! Again we will paint from 8AM till 1PM, rain or shine, then have a critique (bring a bagged lunch) at 1pm and a brief business meeting. The manager mentioned a possibility of displaying our work in November so please visit the WIPAPA blog often for updated!! (http://www.WIPAPA.blogspot.com)
PARKING IS IN THE ORCHARD PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE BARN! (Outhouses are scattered all around the site.)
Don't forget the Downtown Plein Air Competition is from Sept 10th thru the 19th and will be our paint out for September. Hope you are all planning to paint!
I am still working on November's meeting location and we do NOT meet in Dec.

Our paid membership is growing and around 90 people are receiving our info on a regular basis! I think it's time to begin doing exhibitions. The Griffin Gallery Fine art in Oconomowoc would like to host a WIPAPA show to hang in May and June of 2010. Let's talk about this at our meeting in October!!
As agreed October also marks the annual dues date so plan accordingly!
